You can join me for a fully guided tutorial whereby we will work on all aspects of carp fishing, focusing on those that are most suited to the conditions we are presented with during your session. Solid Bag Skill Session – Step into the world of solid bags and grasp the fundamental principles behind their effectiveness. Solid bags can be a superb way to catch carp at any time of the year, providing the fish with a small parcel of bait stacked full of attraction, the perfect way to fish for one bite at a time. Learn why they work so well and how to tailor your approach to different fishing conditions as well as how to tie the perfect solid bag.

Boilie Skill Session – Boilies have revolutionised carp fishing and are the most widely used carp bait of all time. Why not dive into the world of boilies and understand the science behind their attraction, from flavours and size to colours and recipes, choosing the perfect boilie for different fishing scenarios and learning how best to present them. Here we can focus on developing these skills to maximise their potential all year round. Combined session fishing with both bottom baits and pop-up presentations.

Particle Skill Session - Particles can be extremely effective for catching carp, especially in the summer months, from classics like corn, hemp and tiger nuts to lesser-known options like maple and chickpeas, I can help you understand the unique properties of each bait and how to choose the right one for different fishing situations. Book on for one of my skill sessions where I can highlight the dos and don’ts of particle fishing.

Zig Rig Skill Session - Zig fishing is more popular now than it ever has been, here I can teach you how to develop your skills, understand how carp respond to baits presented at varying depths and focus on how to effectively fish with such a devastating tactic, with potentially unbelievable results. We cover both static and adjustable zig fishing as well as hookbait choices and how to boost their attraction.

Floater Fishing Skill Session – Floater fishing is an exciting and effective technique to catch carp, especially during warm weather when carp are more active near the water’s surface. This technique involves presenting bait on the surface of the water to entice the carp to feed and can be the most exciting way to catch them. If you would like to learn all about this exciting way of catching carp, please get in touch.

In addition to the above, if you’re interested in getting to grips with using a bait boat to its full potential, please get in touch to discuss this option further. These sessions will include the use of an ND2 Bait Boat with Raymarine Pro 5 Fish Finder and FishEye Camera Kit (FECK) accessories, including a winch camera, static camera, bait spiral, zig dropper and a PVA bag hopper dropper. Some or all these accessories can be utilised during your session.

Included in each of my sessions are an RG Baits, bait bundle and a Trakker Products terminal tackle bundle with a combined RRP in excess of £100, and these can be taken away after the session to get you started on the bank.

Location/Venue

Sessions will primarily take place in the picturesque Northwest region, providing the perfect inspirational venue for your learning experience. I have selected a number of venues that are ideal for each of the skill sessions mentioned above which are known for responding well to those methods. In addition, I have also selected a number of venues that are perfect for a Guided Tutorial.

Additionally, throughout the year, I have the flexibility to offer a limited number of sessions in alternative locations.
